A handmade pomegranate candle inspired by Persephone, the Underworld and the ancient symbolism of the pomegranate.

Scented with Pomegranate Noir, this 130g candle has been hand-poured and individually hand-painted in rich crimson red and luxurious gold, with the pomegranate's seeds revealed at its heart.

Pomegranates have long carried associations with the Underworld, transformation, fertility, abundance, love, creativity, divination and prosperity — making this a beautiful addition to an altar or ritual space.

Each candle comes with a Moss & Moonlight ritual, created with the help of a fellow witch with a particular love and knowledge of Greek mythology.

This isn't mass-produced. Every Persephone’s Descent is made by hand, so yours will be completely unique.

🕯️ Candle Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep away from children, pets, draughts and flammable materials.

Place on a suitable, stable, heat-resistant surface.

Trim wick to approx. 5mm before each burn.

Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

Stop burning when approximately 10mm of wax remains.

Allow the candle to cool completely before handling.
